Adding a billing method unlocks the full capabilities of Camper BMS. Without it, several features are restricted.
Why You Need a Billing Method
Until you add a billing method, the following features are restricted:
Payment gateways - You can't configure a payment gateway or accept payments from customers.
API access - The REST API is disabled.
SMS messaging - You can't send SMS to customers.
Custom map service - You can still upload and manually set up your own campground maps, but the "we'll do it for you" professional setup option is unavailable.
How to Add Your Billing Method
After creating your organisation and your first campground, you'll be guided to the billing setup.
Enter your billing address details.
Click Continue to Payment Method to proceed to the payment page.
Enter your card details using the secure Stripe payment form.
Tick the checkbox to acknowledge the billing terms set out in Section 5 of the SaaS Agreement.
Click Submit to complete the setup.
This creates a customer profile in Stripe for your organisation. You won't be charged until you start using billable features.
Updating Your Billing Method Later
If you need to change your payment method:
Go to Billing from the main navigation.
Click Update Payment Method.
You'll be taken to a secure Stripe-hosted page where you can enter your new card details.
