Offer promotional discounts to customers with codes they can apply during checkout, or create public sales that apply automatically.
Accessing Discounts
Navigate to Discounts from the campground menu.
Creating a New Discount
Click Create New Discount.
Fill in the details:
Discount Name — A name for the promotion (e.g. "Summer Sale 2024"). Required.
Discount Code — The code customers enter (e.g. "SUMMER20"). Leave blank to create a public sale that applies automatically without a code.
Description (optional) — A description shown to customers.
Discount Type — Percentage or Fixed Amount Off. Required.
Discount Value — The discount value (e.g. 20 for 20% or $20). Required.
Applies To — Choose what the discount covers. Required. Options:
All Bookings & Addons.
All Bookings (excluding addons).
Specific Categories (select which categories from a checkbox list).
Specific Customers (enter customer email addresses, one per line).
Start Date — When the discount becomes active. Required.
End Date (optional) — When the discount expires. Leave blank for no end date.
Total Usage Limit (optional) — Maximum total redemptions. Leave blank for unlimited.
Per Customer Limit (optional) — Maximum uses per customer. Leave blank for no limit.
Status — Toggle the discount active or inactive using the slider.
Click Create Discount.
How Customers Use It
During the public booking checkout, customers can enter the discount code. The system validates it and applies the discount to their total if it's valid. Public sales (no code) apply automatically.
