Email Unsubscribe

Customers can opt out of campground-initiated email messages through unsubscribe links.

How It Works

When a campground sends a bulk email message (via the Messaging feature), each email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking this link removes the customer from future campground-initiated messages.

What Gets Blocked

  • Bulk messages sent through the Messaging feature.

What Is Not Affected

Unsubscribing does not block essential transactional emails such as:

  • Booking confirmations

  • Invoice and payment emails

  • Check-in reminders

  • Self check-in links

  • Post-stay emails

These are considered operational communications tied to an active booking and are always delivered.

Managing Unsubscribe Status

When composing a message, the recipient list automatically excludes customers who have unsubscribed. These customers will not appear in the recipient preview.

Unsubscribe status is per-campground. If a customer has bookings at multiple campgrounds on the platform, unsubscribing from one does not affect the other.

Re-subscribing

There is currently no self-service re-subscribe option. If a customer wishes to receive messages again, contact support.
