Collect guest feedback with your own surveys and see the results roll into your Camper BMS dashboard. Track your Net Promoter Score, spot trends, and read what guests really think after every stay - all without a separate survey tool.

Surveys are available once you have a payment method on file and your account is in good standing.

Finding Surveys

Open Surveys from the left sidebar menu. This is where you create surveys, share them, and view results.

Your Default Post-Stay Survey

When your campground is first set up, we automatically create a ready-to-go post-stay survey for you. It is:

  • Published and attached to your post-stay email, so every departing guest is invited to share feedback.

  • Anonymous, so guests can be honest.

  • Invite-only, so responses are collected only through the unique link in each guest's post-stay email (one response per stay).

It starts with two questions: a Net Promoter Score question ("How likely are you to recommend us?") and a short follow-up asking the main reason for their score.

You can edit it, rename it, change the questions, or turn it off at any time.

You can manage it from Surveys, and you can also disable it from your Post Stay Email settings.

Creating a Survey

  1. Go to Surveys and click Create Survey.

  2. Give your survey a title, and optionally an intro message and a thank-you message.

  3. Build your questions in the visual editor - it looks the way your guests will see it.

New surveys start with a ready-made NPS question plus friendly intro and thank-you text, so you can publish in seconds.

Question Types

  • Net Promoter Score (NPS) - a 0 to 10 "how likely are you to recommend" question.

  • Rating scale - a number rating (for example 1 to 5 or 1 to 10).

  • Multiple choice - guests pick one answer.

  • Checkboxes - guests pick as many answers as apply.

  • Free text - an open comment box.

  • Yes / No - a simple yes or no answer.

Editing Questions

  • Add a question with the question-type buttons.

  • Reorder questions by dragging them.

  • Edit the wording inline.

  • Mark a question as required so guests must answer it before submitting.

Preview

Switch to Preview at any time to see exactly what your guests will see. Responses are not recorded while you are previewing.

Survey Settings

Each survey has a settings panel beside the editor:

  • Anonymous results - when on, responses are not tied to an individual guest. Guests are always told whether a survey is anonymous before they answer.

  • Public link - when on, the survey gets its own shareable web page that anyone with the link can complete. When off, the survey is invite-only and accepts responses only through the unique per-stay link in the post-stay email.

  • Attach to post-stay email - adds this survey to your automatic post-stay email. Only one survey can be the post-stay survey at a time.

  • Daily response digest - sends a daily email summary of new responses to your chosen notification recipients.

  • Opens at / Closes at - optional open and close dates so the survey runs exactly when you want. Times use your campground's time zone.

Publishing

A survey can be a Draft, Published, or Closed.

  • Use Save as draft while you are still working on it.

  • Use Save & Publish to make it live. A survey needs at least one question before it can be published.

  • A published survey only accepts responses on its public link once it is live.

Sharing Your Survey

There are two ways to get responses:

  • Hosted link - turn on Public link, publish the survey, then copy the survey link and share it in an email, a text message, or a social post.

  • Post-stay email - turn on Attach to post-stay email. Every guest then receives the survey link automatically in their post-stay email. To include the link in your own email wording, use the {SURVEY_LINK} placeholder in your Post Stay Email content.

If you prefer to only hear from real guests, leave Public link off and rely on the post-stay email. Each guest then gets a unique, one-time link and can respond only once.

Viewing Results

Open a survey and choose Results to see:

  • Headline stats - total responses, your NPS score, and average ratings.

  • A breakdown of every question - the NPS promoter, passive, and detractor split, rating distributions, choice breakdowns, and a readable list of written comments.

  • Individual responses - for identified (non-anonymous) surveys, you can browse responses with the guest's details. Anonymous surveys hide these.

  • Export CSV - download everything into a spreadsheet whenever you need it.

You can also turn on the Daily response digest in the survey settings to get a summary of new responses by email.

Privacy and Honest Feedback

  • Anonymous or identified - you choose, and guests are told clearly which it is before they answer.

  • Feedback only - surveys are for genuine feedback, so promotional content is automatically blocked. If your title or description reads like an advertisement, you will be asked to reword it.

  • Looked after - responses are retained and then automatically anonymised in line with our data-retention commitments.

Managing Surveys

From the survey list you can:

  • Edit a survey's questions and settings.

  • Publish a draft or Close a survey to stop accepting responses.

  • Delete a survey. This also deletes all of its responses and cannot be undone.
