Creating a Booking
Create bookings directly from the admin panel on behalf of customers (e.g. phone or walk-in bookings).
Accessing the Booking Form
Navigate to Bookings and click Create New Booking.
Step by Step
1. Select a Customer
Use the search widget to find an existing customer by name or email.
Or click Create Customer (opens in popup) to add a new customer on the spot (first name, last name, email, phone, and address).
2. Select a Camping Area
Search and select the camping area for the booking.
3. Select Dates
Use the date picker to choose check-in and check-out dates. You must select a camping area first before dates become available. Once dates are selected, available sites will load automatically.
4. Select a Campsite
Search for a campsite from the available sites shown for your selected dates.
Each site shows its number and size.
5. Additional Details
Number of Guests - How many guests.
Booking Status - Choose from Draft, Confirmed (pending), Confirmed (paid), or Cancelled.
Customer Notes - Any notes from the customer.
Booking Source - Where the booking came from (e.g. "Booking.com", "Airbnb", "Phone call").
6. Invoice Options
Create Invoice for this Booking is on by default and generates an invoice. While it is on, Booking Status is locked to Confirmed (pending) - to choose Draft, Confirmed (paid), or Cancelled, turn invoicing off first.
Choose Automatic calculation to use the system-calculated price.
Or choose Custom amount and enter a specific dollar amount.
7. Override Availability Checks
At the top of the form is an Override availability checks checkbox. Leave it off for normal bookings. Turn it on to record a booking on dates or a site that are otherwise booked, blocked, or channel-managed - for example an external Booking.com, phone, or walk-in booking. It skips all availability checks: existing bookings, blocked dates, leases, and iCal channel blocks.
8. Submit
Click Create Booking to save. The booking is created and you'll be taken to the booking details page.
