Daily Summary CSV
Important
This article documents how Camper BMS prepares each day's totals as they were recorded in Camper BMS. It does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice. How the totals are entered into your accounting system, and everything on your BAS, remain your responsibility, or your bookkeeper's or accountant's. Seek advice from a registered tax agent where needed.
Turn each day's payments, refunds and GST into a downloadable CSV file - the same daily totals the Xero integration posts, ready to enter into any accounting system by hand.
What It Does
Each morning after 2am (your park's time), Camper BMS closes the previous day and prepares its totals as a CSV file: the day's takings grouped by GST treatment, the settlement streams the money arrived through (card, direct debit, payments marked as paid manually), and a daily total. You or your bookkeeper download the file and enter the totals into your accounting system.
Amounts are dated the day the money was recorded in Camper BMS - a cash view of each day.
Daily Summary CSVs are free.
Where to Find It
Navigate to Integrations > Accounting from the main navigation and click Set up on the Daily Summary CSV card. If you don't see Accounting in the sidebar, it may be hidden under Settings > Navigation, or your role may not include integration permissions.
Enabling
Click Enable daily CSVs. That's the whole setup - there is no account to connect. The first file, for the day before, appears within about an hour if that day had payments or refunds.
Downloading
Pick a month - the page lists one row per prepared day for the selected month, with its payment count, total and GST. The month selector defaults to the current month.
Download a day - click Download CSV on its row.
Download the whole month - click Download month (zip) to get every day of the selected month as one zip, one CSV per day.
A day marked Nothing to record had only $0 payments - there is no file to download for it.
What's in the File
Each row carries the business date, a reference like CBMS-12847-2026-10-05-1, a type, a description, the GST treatment, and the gross and GST amounts in dollars:
sales rows - the day's takings split by GST treatment. For example:
sales, Accommodation, standard, 110.00, 10.00.settlement rows - the same total split by how the money was taken. For example:
settlement, Card payments, 110.00.total row - the day's gross and GST totals. Refund-heavy days show negative amounts.
Enter the sales rows (or just the total row, if you keep a single sales line) into your accounting system, and use the settlement rows to match your gateway payouts.
Good to Know
Files start from the day before you enable the feature - earlier history is not back-filled.
A payment recorded late for an already-prepared day appears as a separate adjustment file for that day.
Disable stops new days from being prepared; days already prepared stay available for download.
