Connecting a Partner
Partner access lets another system, such as gate access or housekeeping software, work with your bookings. You create a key, send it to your partner, and they set themselves up with it. You choose what they can reach and can change or remove it at any time.
Requirements
Partner access requires API access to be enabled. See Enabling API Access.
Creating a Key
Navigate to Integrations from the main navigation.
In the Partner access section, click Connect a partner.
Enter the Partner name. This is shown on the Integrations page so you know who holds the access.
Select what they may access. Choose Full access, or tick individual permissions such as Bookings (Read) and Bookings (Write). Your partner can tell you which they need.
Choose when access expires: Never, After 30 days, After 90 days, or After a year. Where an expiry is set, you are emailed a week before it lapses.
Click Create Temporary Key.
Sending the Key
The key is shown once. Copy it before closing the window, because it is not shown again.
Copy key copies the key on its own.
Copy message copies a message you can paste straight into an email to your partner. It contains the key and a link to the documentation they need.
Camper BMS does not send the key for you. The key can only be used once and expires in three days. If it expires before your partner uses it, create another.
Checking the Connection
Each partner appears in the Partner access section with its status:
Awaiting partner - the key has been created but not yet used.
Connected - your partner has used the key and holds access. The row shows when they connected, when they last called your API, and whether updates are being delivered to them.
Key expired - three days passed without the key being used. Create another.
If a partner reports that their key was rejected, and the row shows Connected from a time or address you do not recognise, someone else used the key. Disconnect the partner and create a new key.
Changing What a Partner Can Access
Click Change access next to the partner.
Tick or untick permissions, then click Save access.
The change applies on their next request. Your partner keeps the credentials they already hold and does not need a new key.
Disconnecting a Partner
Click Disconnect next to the partner. Their API access and webhooks are removed immediately. To reconnect them later, create a new key.
Information for Your Partner
Your partner exchanges the key for credentials by calling the claim endpoint. They then register the address their webhooks should be delivered to. Both are documented under Partner Access in the API documentation.
Partner credentials do not appear in your Active Tokens list and their webhook does not appear under Webhooks. They are managed from the Partner access section only.
