Checking In & Checking Out
Track guest arrivals and departures directly from the booking detail page.
Checking a Guest In
Open the booking.
When the booking is confirmed and paid and the guest has not yet been checked in, you'll see a Check In action card. It appears regardless of the check-in date.
Click Check In to mark the guest as arrived.
Checking a Guest Out
Open the booking for a checked-in guest.
Click the Check Out action card.
The guest is marked as departed.
If The Site Is Cleaned Between Guests
Sites in an area set to need cleaning get two extra behaviours here:
Checking a guest out adds their site to the housekeeping list automatically.
If a site is still waiting to be cleaned, the booking shows a Site {number} is marked dirty banner and check-in asks you to acknowledge it first, using Check in anyway. You can also Mark clean from the banner. Check-in is never hard-blocked.
Undoing a check-out cancels the cleaning task it raised, putting the site back to clean. Sites in areas that are not cleaned between guests behave as a simple in and out. See Dirty Sites & Check-In.
Undoing Check-In or Check-Out
Made a mistake? You can reverse either action:
Open the booking.
Next to the checked-in or checked-out status indicator, click Undo.
A confirmation modal will appear. Click Undo Check-in or Undo Check-out to confirm.
The booking status reverts to its previous state.
Self Check-In
Customers can also check themselves in using the self check-in link. This link is sent in a separate self check-in email, not the booking confirmation email. Send it from the booking detail page with the Send Check-In Email action. See Self Check-In for details on the customer experience.
