The Housekeeping Board
The housekeeping board is where your cleaning team sees what needs doing. It lists every open cleaning task for the campground, ordered so the most urgent turnovers come first.
Finding The Board
Click Housekeeping in the side navigation, or press Cmd/Ctrl + K and search for "housekeeping". The link only appears once housekeeping is switched on for the campground - see Turning On Housekeeping.
The Four Views
Tabs across the top split the work up, and each shows a live count:
All open - everything still outstanding, whether unassigned, assigned or in progress. This is the default view.
My work - open tasks assigned to you.
Unassigned - tasks nobody has picked up yet.
Completed today - tasks finished so far today, using your campground's timezone.
How Tasks Are Ordered
In the open, my work and unassigned views, tasks are sorted by urgency rather than by age. Sites with a guest arriving today come first, then sites by how soon the next guest arrives, and only then by when the task was raised. The completed view is simply newest first.
Filtering
Two dropdowns narrow the list down:
Area - show only sites in one campsite category. Defaults to All areas.
Assignee - show only one person's tasks. Defaults to Anyone.
Once a filter is applied, a Clear filters link appears to reset the view.
What A Task Card Shows
Each card is a single site's cleaning task:
A coloured status dot and its status: Unassigned, Assigned, In progress, Completed or Cancelled.
The site number, and the site's area as a pill if it has one.
A Group pill if the task came from a booking that is part of a group booking.
An urgency badge - Arrives today if a guest is due on that site today, or Arrives {date} if someone is due within the next two days.
The reason the task was raised, and when it was raised.
Who it is assigned to, or No assignee.
Click a card to expand it. Inside you get the action buttons, a More menu, links through to the booking or group, any photos, the full activity timeline, and an Add an update box for notes and photos. Working the tasks themselves is covered in Housekeeping Tasks.
Raising A Task From The Board
Click Mark site dirty at the top of the board to raise a cleaning task by hand, for anything that is not a guest checkout.
When The Board Is Empty
An empty view reads "No housekeeping tasks in this view", with the note that completed checkouts and manually marked sites will appear here. On a busy morning this is what you want to see by the end of the day.
A Single Site's Cleaning History
Every site has its own housekeeping page showing everything that has ever happened to it. Reach it from the Housekeeping link on a campsite in the campsite list, from the campsite's own page, or from View task on a booking's dirty-site banner.
The page shows three tiles - Total tasks, Times cleaned and Last cleaned - followed by every task for that site, eight per page. The current task is badged Current, and only that one can be acted on. If nothing is outstanding you get a green banner: "This site is clean. No open housekeeping task."
This is the quickest way to answer "when was this site last cleaned, and by whom" when a guest queries it.
