The Housekeeping Board

The housekeeping board is where your cleaning team sees what needs doing. It lists every site waiting to be cleaned at the campground, ordered so the most urgent turnovers come first.

Finding The Board

Click Housekeeping in the side navigation, or press Cmd/Ctrl + K and search for "housekeeping". The link appears once at least one area is set to need cleaning - see Turning On Housekeeping.

The Two Views

Two tabs across the top split the work up, and each shows a live count:

Needs cleaning - every site still waiting. This is the default view.
Cleaned today - sites marked clean so far today, using your campground's timezone.

How Sites Are Ordered

In the Needs cleaning view, sites are sorted by urgency. Sites with a guest arriving today come first, then sites by how soon the next guest arrives, and only then by how long they have been waiting. The Cleaned today view is newest first.

Filtering

The Area dropdown shows only sites in a single campsite area, and defaults to All areas. Use it when cleaners are split across a park.

What A Row Shows

Each row is one site waiting to be cleaned:

The site number, which links through to that site's cleaning history.
The site's area, if it has one.
An urgency badge - Guest arrives today if someone is due on that site today, or Next guest {date} if the next arrival is further out.
The reason the site needs cleaning, such as "Guest checkout".

In the Cleaned today view, the row shows who cleaned it instead of the urgency badge.

Working The Board

The actions sit on the row itself:

Mark clean - the site is done and drops off the list.
Undo - on the Cleaned today view, puts a site back on the list if it was marked off too early.
The × button removes a task that should not have been raised.

Marking A Site Dirty From The Board

Click Mark site dirty at the top of the board to add a site to the list by hand, for anything that is not a guest checkout. Search for the site, give a reason, and click Mark dirty.

When The Board Is Empty

An empty Needs cleaning view reads "Every site is clean", noting that sites appear there when a guest checks out. An empty Cleaned today view reads "Nothing cleaned yet today".

A Single Site's Cleaning History

Every site has its own housekeeping page. Reach it from the site number on the board, from the Housekeeping link on a campsite in the campsite list, or from View task on a booking's dirty-site banner.

The page shows three tiles - Total tasks, Times cleaned and Last cleaned - followed by every task for that site, eight per page, each with when it was raised and when and by whom it was cleaned. The current task is badged Current, and only that one can be marked clean. If nothing is outstanding you get a green banner: "This site is clean."

This is the quickest way to answer "when was this site last cleaned, and by whom" when a guest queries it.
